Joy Calderwood: A lover of books of many kinds. I enjoy exploring the adventurous, luxuriating in the cozy, gasping at the unexpected. My reviewing tastes tend away from the light, toward the complex, though there are plenty of exceptions to that. I value well-written prose. I have a large sprinkling of ebook reviews, and reviews of some carefully chosen self-published material, because that's where most of the experimentation is. I have degrees in Psychology and Business Management, and I am the Reviewers' Choice webmistress. For my other websites, see Spinoff Reviews and Calderwood Books.
Barbara Fielding: is a family counselor from North Texas who believes reading is good therapy, and a stress buster from her demanding job. Her reading tastes include authors, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Julia Quinn, Mary Balogh, Sara Donati, John Grisham, Vince Flynn and Brian Haig. She also enjoys a variety of genres from classics and biographies to legal thrillers and inspirational.
Sissy Jacobson: a retired R.N., the mother of three and three in-law children, and grandmother of four. I've been married to my hero for 46 years, so I guess I'll keep him around now that I'm used to him. I've always been an avid reader and was lucky enough to be asked to review for a site where I was taught by the best. My favorite genre is romance because of the "happy ever after" endings, but I also enjoy biographies...especially the "gossipy" ones, and love studying about plantation life and visiting the plantations here in Louisiana where I was born and have lived most of my life.
Associate Reviewers. (You will note the Australian spelling that most of the associates use.)
Susan Conatser: I love reading, and reviewing books comes as a natural expression of my passion for reading. Books have always held a special kind of magic for me and my reading tastes are very diverse. I enjoy historical and inspirational fiction, and nonfiction. When I am not reading, I keep busy working alongside my husband in church ministry.
Sally Roddom: I am a qualified librarian who has never been able to get a job in a library so vent my frustration by rearranging books into their proper spot when I am in any library or bookshop. I like books that are easy to read such as cosy mysteries, fantasy, romance, history and family sagas. But don't mind getting my teeth into something thought provoking and controversial. I don't like doorstop sized books but will make an exception if it is a well-written page turner. When I am not reading, I am bird watching and drinking wine on the cliff top at sunset with husband, friends and family.
